She remembers taking trips to chesterfield market to get her fabric, and copying patterns vintage garments.there was a huge out cry for 1970’s fancy dress back in the first few years. However to get hold of flares, and jump suitsdid mean making them yourself. Our  70’s elvis was a giant hit. and we followed this upby creating glam rock jumps suits in stretch purple paisley and other ghastly designs. big zips up front from crotch to chest bone. And to top them off they all had matching baker boy hats.These fancy dress costumes where unique and got hired out time and time again.Over the years the availability to purchase hire quality costumes has improved.
