Glamorous womenIf you want to make a movie star entrance to your fancy dress party then look no further than a First Lady outfit, 60’s movie star or a sexy trophy wife costume.  The great thing about fancy dress parties is that you can go to a party dressed as anything you want.  Most websites have an immense range of womens fancy dress to choose from and if you decide you want to add a touch of glamour into your life then consider these three outfits. 

First lady outfit If you like the Jackie Onassis’ look then you will love this outfit. It’s a cool pink dress with short sleeves and a belted waist.  White cotton gloves add a touch of class and you can finish it off with a black wig and false eyelashes.  If you don’t want to wear false eyelashes then go to a reputable beauty salon and get eyelash extensions. These are applied by a trained therapist one eyelash at a time over your natural lashes. They will certainly look the part!  Jackie Onassis was formerly Jackie Kennedy and became America’s first lady in January 1961.  She was the personification of elegance and chic and her style was emulated all over the world. This is a power outfit to wear and should make you feel invincible. 

Womens 60’s movie star outfitThis costume is similar to the first lady outfit but you get to wear the beehive wig and tiara!  If you feel good in a little black dress, then the Audrey Hepburn style black shift dress is for you.  A silver and black belt will nip in the waist to show off your curves and add the white cotton gloves for a dash of elegance.   The black beehive wig shows off the tiara that is so typical of the era. 

Sexy Trophy WifeIn the field of womens fancy dress then this has to be one of the most fun to wear.   A great costume of a long gold metallic dress with a black base that reads ‘trophy wife’.  Team this up with gold gloves and a long blonde wig and the only other accessory you will need is a millionaire husband!
