Disco diva or Dancing Queen?  What takes your fancy?  Long blonde or brown 70s or 80s wigs and platform shoes.  The music the dazzle and the glitz of the 70s and 80s were part of the Abba era.  If you’re going to a party take some 70s dancing lessons.  It’s fantastic exercise and great fun!  With the revival of all kinds of dancing on TV, you should be able to find a dancing school close to home.  Lessons aren’t expensive if you find a class that you can pay on the door.  Not everyone can commit to a set night every week so it makes sense to pay as you go rather than signing up for a session.  Drag your friends with you for an alternative night out.

Abba BackgroundAbba was a Swedish group who started in 1972 and continued making chart hits and number ones until 1982.  The group was made up of four members two men and two women, Agnetha Fältskog, Benny Andersson, Björn Ulvaeus, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad. They had some fabulous outfits that are ideal for any fancy dress party.

Womens Fancy dress 70s style

Flares and sequined topsWhite and shiny with plenty of sparkles, a disco fancy dress outfit includes flared trousers, sequined top and silver belt.  You’ll need a long straight wig to complete the look.  If you want to change your hair colour go for a wig in the opposite colour of your natural hair and you’ll be shocked how many people won’t recognize you at the party.

Mini dressIf you want to wear a skirt try the white mini dress with stand up collar and belt.  Wear a long wig and tie a narrow band in silver or gold round your head.  Black false eyelashes and blue eye shadow complete the look.

Mens fancy dress Abba style

Benny outfitThe Benny outfit consists of a white silky top and trousers with gold braiding. You can wear a brown Bee Gees style wig and optional brown tache.

These outfits look fabulous worn as a couple or group and you can mix and match the trousers and skirts to suit each member.  Order your costumes together to make sure they are in stock and that you will get them delivered on time.
